- Age: 55 years, Lives in Bilaspur, housewife,
- She lives with her husband alone and likes to have a fun outing and entertainment. She prefers going to the movies frequently once/twice a month for mind refreshing experience. She is full of life and very blissful, she prefers watching light hearted movies for laughs as mentioned, refreshing her mind.
- She has a local group of school friends and tends to enjoy with them as well. She does not have first hand experience ordering snacks from the counter herself as mostly her friends do this for her. She admits she prefer her friends doing the hard work as she doesn’t want to leave her place just to place an order in the rush. She would rather not order than go out but appreciates her friends bringing her snacks. “kaun hi toh kare order bahar jaake”
- She dislikes interacting with the counter people and wait in long queues to first order and then collect her order. She has become very conscious of people and space especially post-pandemic and would rather avoid the crowd.
- She finds the price very high but at the same time enjoys munching so goes ahead with ordering anyway. She usually orders popcorns and coke as she is not sure about the freshness of other food items like the burger and sandwiches.
- She also does not like to disturb the audience because of regular going out and coming in and feels an app would be helpful because she feels she should have an option which she can use if she wants. She thinks if given the option to order from an app with ease of use, she might order more frequently.
- She expects be able to see proper menu lists, rating of the food and time taken to deliver as she doesn’t want to wait too much for her order after the movie has started. She also feels pre-booking her meals at the time of ticket booking restricts you as tickets are booked way in advance and she isn’t aware of her requirements at that day and time, so would like the flexibility to order whenever even inside the hall.
- She doesn’t think operating an app would be a disturbance between a movie since she’s almost always watching a light hearted movie.

- Age: 60 years
- He is retired and lives with his wife and daughter. He mainly goes to movies to accompany them. He does not particularly like snacking but still eats to accompany his daughters, although he finds snacks at the movies very costly.
- While doing so, he feels there are limited options at the counter and would appreciate more variety including some at-home snacks like tea, pakoras, poha, etc. He thinks this will make him more comfortable and give him feels-at-home. He also feels that the quality is compromised at times when the popcorn feels soggy and not fresh enough.
- He dislikes ordering during the intermission because of the unmanageable crowd from multiple movie screens taking breaks at the same time.
- When he is watching some thriller or mystery movies, he feels snacking is a distraction at the movies and he loses his focus.
- He is really impromptu with the snacking needs which is why he can’t pre order snacks and prefers snacks ordered at his preferred time, instead of in the starting of the movie or till intermission. But can’t leave the hall during the movie just to order snacks.
